# \_global. Function help needed

Hi Everyone,

CS3/AS2

I am attempting to use the TextMetrics class in a \_global. function, but I’m unsure as to the relationship between the function and the mc layer calling it. If you could take a quick peek at my code it would be greatly appreciated.

A side note: if you have time… i believe that there will be a conflict if this function is called multiple times from the same mc, any heads up on preventing this would be awesome.
