# \_root.movieclip.movieclip.gotoAndPlay(15);

Is it possible to do:

\_root.movieclip.movieclip.gotoAndPlay(15);

Because in my case it is not working, but I think it should…  
what is working is:

\_root.movieclip.play();

It looks exactly like this when it is working:

on(release) {  
if(\_root.link\<\>6) {  
\_parent[“item” + \_root.link].gotoAndPlay(“s2”);  
\_root.link = 6;  
**\_root.pages.play();**  
if(\_root.\_currentframe\<30) { \_root.play(); }  
}

But I need something like:

on(release) {  
if(\_root.link\<\>6) {  
\_parent[“item” + \_root.link].gotoAndPlay(“s2”);  
\_root.link = 6;  
**\_root.pages.pics.gotoAndPlay(15);**  
if(\_root.\_currentframe\<30) { \_root.play(); }  
}

Can somebody help me out :rd:
