# \_root.thisThread = ratio

Ok, I was thinking that the mouse’s \_x would be a ratio to a frame in an MC, ‘frog’. I would do this. When the mouse was at the absolute left, a dynamic textbox would read 30. And right would be 1. Then I would have this code:

```auto
frog.gotoAndStop(_root.textbox.text);

```

Will what I do work?  
Can you give the ratio code?  
Why don’t I have any friends? (lol jk)
