# 2nd site - Check it out & critique

This is my second flash site mostly done except some parts. Please let me know what you think any critique is welcome.

nice splash, good colors
if your trying to be professional, dont use ‘u’, use you
on the home pane, where you rollover ‘about profile etc;’ i think you should think about changing the text. cause when you rollover, you get a faint outline of the word, and it doesnt really work, imo.
try fixing the font, or the rollover color
and im not too big a fan of the huge silkscreen (guessing thats what you used) font… it kinda looks cheap to me.
but anyhow, you got a good design going.

I really like the colors. Purple is becoming a fav of mine lately,
and this is right up my alley. 😉
the graphicsare decent, and i like the 3-d stuff running
throughout. the contrast with yellows is perfect IMO.
Your transitions and movies for each page are very cool. I really
like the contact one in particular.
As for improvements…(since that’s why you are here ;))
first thing is, you need a mute button, and I didn’t see one on any
page. For some reason, I never really give music a chance but for
a few seconds, then I’m looking for the mute.
You should try adjusting the framerate up a bit. It’s good
animation, but it’s a little choppy to me. Not much, it’s pretty
good as it is, just a hair. Maybe 5-6 up…
For your 2nd flash site, it’s very good. Keep up the good work,
and good luck with it!

Denasen, considering this is your 2nd flash site it is not bad at all however, as was said before you need to add sound control, never force people to listen to music without giving them the option to turn it off and I’ve counted about 6 or 7 different fonts that you’re using for different things, and that’s what throws it off as inexperience. You should always use only 2, max 3 fonts, get rid of all those fonts and make it more consistent. Keep up the good work.

For a 2nd site, it’s okay, still could use a lot of work. Here are some things I noticed:
1. You have a nice graphic on your splash page, but the white text to the right is throwing everything off. I sugges maybe using a different font with a smaller size, maybe a pixel font to make it look cleaner.
2. The main problem with your site is that it lacks consistency and a theme. When I first saw the splash page, I was impressed, but your layout wasn’t what I was expecting. I thought that there would be something that would reflect the image on your splash page. Maybe you should bring more of the concept on your splash page onto the main layout.
3. The text you’re using now doesn’t go too well with the rest of your layout since it’s too big.
4. Also you should create some kind of transition between each section just to make it more interesting.
I know this is your 2nd site so it’s perfectly understandable what you’ve done so far. I hope the things I’ve listed will give you an idea as to how your next version will look, good luck. =)

Nice stuff… I really like your site - only a few things to point out:
1. I don’t think the font is right - because of the way the font is made it detracts from the clean look of the site…
2. Check your scroll bars - on profile u have one line that is not visible but the scroll doesn’t work… it may also be an idea that where there is nothing to scroll down to u remove the bars because if u have them there people will expect more where there isn’t anymore (get the idea?).
Other than that I like it very much…

nice site…nice color. u have a simple color. But it may look better if the text is not to big. But its a good job, keep learn
