Since making a new iPod with a 2d application would seem too easy, how about a 3d battle? You can design the new model for the iPod, and write up specs for it. Rules: - iPod must be 3d, made either in a 2d or 3d application. - model must have reasonable specifications, nothing outrageous. - new feature(s) are encouraged. “Fasterthanlight” - Entries must not suck. Hey by the way… How will you decide that I have made something is IPOD if I make some different new kind of player ?? So that means I will have to inherit some features from IPOD in my design… .is that correct interpretation ? ---

Yeah, basically. You could look at the iPod’s history, and how many times the design changes. And just take to mind, that apple’s ipods are generally white, black, and in the mini’s, different colors. Try to keep the functions and features of the iPod within your design. GBP ---

ok so that means I have to keep functional specs same as an actual ipod but I can vary design… is that right? ---

yes, and apparently, your entry must not suck although creativity and innovation is encouraged i assume, but like they said don’t make it outrageous “Someone said I could find a holographic iPod here… now where the \*\*\*\* is it” ---

Hey man I have never hold real IPOD so such questions I had to ask… Besides what’s the point if I have to copy apple ipod… I should be able to modify it… and ES already said the contest is about making a new IPOD… so what I understood is what you design much be identifiable as IPOD, but otherwise go crazy designing it with all new stuff… ---
