Would any kirupians want to start a 3d project? where everyone that wants to can just contribute to a project. We’ll just be making scenes, or anything just for the heck of it, and see if this all works out. In my opinion, all of the AMAZING 3d artists on this forum working together, well… could really do some serious damage. So what do you all think? good idea? bad idea? … comments? Thanks. GBP ---

3d’s not my thing but you should make a GIANT skyline where different artists create a part of the city… each person makes a few buildings… trees… water… ---

Any program. Since most 3d applications out there can be used together, with swapping files and formats, et cetera. GBP ---

wake me up if you want to do it in maya or max…I’m working on something now I could just drop in 😃 Setup some ground rules too, as multi progs do work in theory but 3d can be a bit frumpy sometimes ☹ ---

I’m using 3Ds, and JUST got maya. Anyone can just make models, or anything. I could handle all of the rendering and what not at the end. But what should we work on first? any ideas? GP ---

If we’re doing a skyline then someone need to set out some plot sizes…maybe this could be like 3D Kirupa Ville? Then maybe certain plots are designated for certain uses/types office/residential/park or just let it be a free for all! ---

Ohh… i have a copy of adobe atmosphere…that never gets used(used like once) if you don’t know what it is, it’s for making 3d virtual interactive worlds (bit like vrml, cept all i ned is to connect it ot a server, whci hi hope is still up and you can see each other with avatars and chat, and all) unfortunatly the plugin only works in IE… and i should have a bunch of other stuff…that one jsut popped up first since it has the most built in features…i think cortex might have more…but i only have home edition of that ☹ i’d be in if we choose something…and i’d be using max… ---
