This is driving me… (you don’t wanna hear it)

How to add multipile textures onto an object? I mean something with the composite this or sth.  
I’ve been messing with the map channels for ages! Followed over a hundred tutes and still can’t get it right! How to add one texture to a polygon and another one to another plygon? Howwww?:-\

It appears I have been messing iwth the wrong settings and stuff! Shoulda asked earlier! Thanx m8! Now I can get some things done… I hope…
