# 3DSMAX - Simplet symmetry tool problem

hi all

i’m working on one half of an object, and using the symmetry tool to flip and complete the rest.

problem is, the symmetry tool flips it using teh center as a pivot - and thus not joining at the far right edge.

How can we adjust exactly where it mirrors?

I tried adjusting teh pivot on the original mesh to the far right edge, with no luck
