# A better way to create an indentation or space "like a tab"

Hey all,

i’m trying to have an indention and spaces like tab spaces in my html code…yeh so far i only know of this way to create a blank space that isn’t broken "&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;" \<----- exmaple:

is there a better way because i know they are bad!
