# A couple general Flash questions

1. I’m creating a site for someone, and I made a flash banner, with Flash 8. I don’t think I used any features that are limited to Flash 8 (like filters, etc) but will it work the same even if a visitor has an older flash player?

And I want to do one of those flash detection scripts, but in the event a person doesn’t have a flash plug-in, what do I do, do I have to have a soley HTML version of the site made too?

1. I’m sorry if this has been asked a million times, but in flash, does a font that not everyone has have to be embeded, if it’s static text? (I’ve read that only input or dynamic text needs to be embedded) I tried embedding it but i’m not sure if it worked.
