Hi

O.K I’ve corrected the problem below and am able to create a button which targets an animation in a movieclip to play like in the advanced rollover tutorial \*\*BUT \*\* I can’t seem to make it work with text even if i convert it to a movie clip. When I test the movie the text doen’t animate like it’s supposed to on rollover (fade in then out) It just appears and stays there !!!

Any ideas ??

\*To answer my own question the text properties must be set to static not dynamic \*

I’ve been doing the Kirupa tutorial on anvanced rollovers, which I can get working within the tutorial file itself. But when I try to do my one .fla from scratch. I get the following error output everytime I rollover the button

Target not found: Target="/rollover" Base="\_level0"

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong ?
Do you need more info on what I’m doing ?

Please help !!! :h:
