# A gr8 menu idea but I need help!

Here is the effect I want to achieve 4 my menu:
if the menu has the links such as:
about
history
geography
misc
what i want to achieve is that when u click the history button,
the history of a list of nations names appears below the history button and at the same time pushing the geography and the misc buttons below (hope you followed!).It looks like this:
about
history
india
canada
australia
geography
misc
Anyway, if the effect is still not clear could you please go to
[www.ysl.com](http://www.ysl.com) (The site of yves saint laurent, wrong spelling?) and check it out and HELP me out.

arghhh!(sorry), but i just went through the whole tutorial but i couldn’t understand most of it! The writer even asks forgiveness towards the end of the tutorial for his bad english structure.
Though the effect i wanted to achieve is the same as the link u mentioned but the tutorial is one of the worst i have read.

whihc part don’t you understand?
i havn’t looked at it but i hate all flash kit tutorials 🙂
i’m sure someone on this forum could help you with the part you’re stuck on though

😛 It’s flash 4 syntax, and written by a Phrenchman (that I know, by the way), no wonder you don’t understand anything.

Most of the flashkit tutorials are really bad and usally for flash 4. I remember seeing the tutorial for this some where but can’t quite remember where. have you tried soem of the other sites like [http://www.flashcircle.com/flashtutorial.php](http://www.flashcircle.com/flashtutorial.php) Tehy may have what you are looking for
