# A little Apache help! Im real stuck!

Hi!

Ok so i have apache 2.2 mysql and php on my pc and have been teaching my self php and mysql for a while and got pretty good.  
BUT im a bit stuck when it comes to apache:h: . I would like people to access my web site through this, i have a router which i know how to configure port forwarding and i have a domain name which i have used through a hosting account. BUT (agian) configuring apache to accept requsets for this domain name Baffels me.  
Can sombody please point me in the right direction i realise i could just read the apache manual (which i have done) but i need it in plain english. Also any good reading recomendations for apache would be great.
