# A php problem

this is a php problem.

$uploadDir = this/is/url/;

imagejpeg($thumb, “\*\*_$uploadDir_\*\*thumbs/”.$image\_info[i\_id].".".jpg);

I want to make a path: this/is/url/thumbs , but i cannot just use: \*\*\*$uploadDir\*\*\*thumbs/  
how to solve this problem???
