You asked for it! Well, no you didn’t. But for a town engulfed in ice and water nearly to roof level, that’s not much. Residents who have been allowed to check out their homes discovered their basements and ground floors were filled with solid ice. The people of Badger are bracing for a long wait before they can go home. Officials in the flooded and ice-crusted town say that relief may not come until the spring thaw – still months away.
