Hi, I just read the wonderful “Applying CSS to Externally Loaded Text” kirupa article and I tried to create my own original .css file on my computer to see if it would externally load into the Flash file. However it kept saying the Error message. I basically used the same \<p\> tags, and changed the content, and then when I changed the name of the .css file itself and changed the name of the .css file under the Actionscript line
var path = “[http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/code/flash.css](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/code/flash.css)”;

TO

var path = “[news.css](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/code/news.css)”;

the css file didn’t load it up. Should I first load everything (text files, css, flash movie) to my server and then will it work? I can’t do it now, but I’m wondering if this will be my solution.

Thanks, and have a good week
