# Accessing an object in a frame

I have a movie clip (MyMc\_mc), within which there is a dynamic textfield (myText\_txt). The text exists only in frame 2 of the movie clip

How can I access the textfield from the first frame of my application (main stage)?

\_root.MyMc\_mc.myText\_txt didn’t work!
