# Accessing root.function from MovieClip

Hi!

I’m shure the answer to my problem is somewhere in here… but I just can´t find it.

I have a function, created in the first frame of my main timeline, and I need i to be called from inside a movieClip.

In AS2 I would simply wright \_root.functio(), but in AS3 this simply wont work since \_root does not exist any more.

Can someone guive me the answer to this my problem?
