# Acer Notebooks?

I’m looking for a notebook under $1000 and I found an Acer Aspire with some very impressive specs…

- Turion 64
- 1 GB RAM
- 100 GB HD
- Dual-layer DVD RW
- 1280x800 res (128 mb video card)
- 15.5" brightview screen
- Built-in wireless

Anybody here have an Acer? Are they built to last? I’d like to be able to get 2 or 3 years of use out of this…
