# Action Script?

sup sup all…my ? and problem is this.

its been a about a year n a half or so since ive worked on any major project in flash…maybe longer…back then i was all AS2 (was was novice/intermediate.  
so coming back AS 3 seems to be in, in a big way so…long story short, its driving me nuts…its completely different from what i last remember…

all the cool things appear to be in AS3 lol…

my ? is can i merge them? like for example, im used to putting code on objects…in AS 3 it seems i cant…dont even know how im going to begin lol.  
so can i create an AS2 file and add something like an AS3 scroller etc…or

im not even 100% sure of my ? lol…hope yall understand what im trying to say.

can i merge em …??? if so can i get an examplle of when i can and cant
