# Action Scripting Blur

Hi I am would like to know if its possible to create an actionscripted blur.

I have created one large MC which contains text images etc when a button is pressed the whole movie clip moves. is it possible to add and actionscripted blur (like the filter blur not the timeline effect) to the movement instead of a tween.
