# Actions in Flash MX....please help!

Let’s me start by thanking [Kirupa.com](http://Kirupa.com) and all of you out there for making it possible for people like me to get started with my own flash page. :mario:

I’m still a rookie yet when it comes to flashing. Now I wanted to add an action to a button which will direct to a local photo.htm page on my HD so people can view this page on the www. I’ve used GoTo and GetUrl actions and none seemed to work.

Secondly, I wanted to use a button to direct from scene1 to scene2. It seems very basic, but I can’t get it to work.
