# Add Filters To Children

I have a Custom Class File that creates children of that class while the .swf is being played. How would I add a filter to those children that are being created? I know how to add filters to static images that are added at edit time on the stage, but it doesn’t work with the children added at run-time? Is there an option that I need to press, or is it in the Actionscript? Thanks in advance.
