# Adding links to Thumbnails Photo Gallery with XML

Hi,

I am referring to this tutorial here [http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/thumbnails.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/thumbnails.htm).

I noticed that the xml file has the link attribute, but I don’t know how to modify the actionscript to make the link active. Can anyone help?

here’s a snippet of the xml:
