# Advanced masking?!

How can i mask more than one layer?

The other question i have is, rather than the mask showing what’s underneath (i can do that), i want the mask to hide what’s underneath?

The effect i am looking to create is sliding text, in and out.

So the mask slides it in, and then slides it out.

Possible?!

To mask more than one latyer, right click on the layer you want to mask (assuming there is already 1 masked layer), properties, check the masked option.  
Theres no way no hide whats being masked. Thats not the purpose of masking 🙂
