Greets, I have a question concerning buttons. I’ve taken the tutorials on how the create advanced rollovers, but I would like to learn how to make the buttons work like on the [Lord of the Rings](http://www.lordoftherings.net) website. Does anyone know how to do this? Help would be appreciated.

Im actually not impressed with the LOTR movie site. They could have done a lot better especially with the money they’re making, I wonder who designed it anyway. ah well
you know, there are a lot of buttons on that site, I think you need to be a little more specific

Right, well, there may be a lot of buttons, but I’m talking about the most obvious; the horizontal menu in the center of the screen.

i know what you mean. i have made one for my website that i am working on. are you talking about the menus that pop out when you rollover the button?
if so:
you have to make a movie clip, that is the tween of the slide out animation. then with the button, which is a movie clip button, you apply a rollover, so that when you roll over the button, the menu MC that you made triggers, and its animation happens.

I dont know, I just thought maybe saying “menu” would have done it. less letters and more specific :\
