Hey Kirupa. Whats with the ads at the top of the forum? It really breaks the flow of the site. And you have all of that advertised once or twice already at the bottom and all over [kirupa.com](http://kirupa.com), why have it at the top of the forum :q: \<-- am curious… ---

I didn’t want this either, but MT was really upset at me for having both MT and Racknine banners on the same site. “It causes confusion among your (kirupa) visitors on who is doing the hosting” Therefore, all references to Racknine on the main site have been taken out. That’s why Racknine has been mentioned here instead. If it is possible for there to be a less obtrusive, yet visible way to get the word out about racknine on the forums, I am willing to make any changes necessary 🙂 Cheers! Kirupa :ub: ---

Yes it does - should MT continue its rampage against me, I will move back to my old servers at XO. What MT does not know is that I never cancelled my old hosting service with XO. All it takes is a simple DNS change, and the site will instantly be referred to the XO servers with anyone hardly noticing a difference. I put the three banners up there because it looked odd having just racknine there. If there are any suggestions on placement of the ads, please do tell me - I am not too fond of the location either. Well you already have the links twice at the bottom of everypage, so I don’t get why they want a banner for it too. I will see if I can think of something for location. Very clever ploy kirupa… good idea with that hosting thing. ---

Well it does look odd the way it is now where it’s placed. Maybe try to incorporate it into the nav bar or add a soft color background behind where the adds are similar to how you have it on the bottom. Maybe that would help…I dont know…:-\ ---

Yeah, I just received word from MT that they want to do the forum hosting as well. They want to be the exclusive sponsor of the site - not sharing it with another competitor. I think I’ll remove the ads shortly after I get the forum configured to work on the MT servers. Alas, that won’t be until this weekend - I have ridiculous amounts of homework to do tonight and tomorrow. Cheers! Kirupa :rambo: ---

I didnt think it was that bad. Its short and light so it blends pretty well in the background. If everythings going over to MT, thats cool too though. 🙂 ---
