# AE export to swf question

Hey everyone, so I just got After Effects 6.5 in the mail yesterday. 😃 After waiting a month for it to ship out…thing is, I’ve never used it, downloaded the trial of 6.0 when I ordered a month ago and have only done one tutorial…anyway, there is the option to export to .swf but when I do, there is no animation?.. It’s just a still picture?..Am I doing something wrong? Or is this what it is supposed to do? I searched through these forums and couldn’t find a topic like this - even more frustrating I found a thread where everyone’s minds kept being blown by some guys graphic work, but the links to his pics were all dead…lol…so I couldn’t see what the excitement was about ☹ Anyway, if anyone has any ideas, or can maybe tell me the best way to export, 'cause I tried another way and I ended up with 300 individual images, and quicktime made the file 13mb?..thanks everyone 😃
