Hi,
I have presently Flash MX, my first flash, with which I’ve been working for a year and a half. No need to say I am in the process of learning. I am particularly interested in coding. Problem is: as of late I am often faced with the frustration of not being able to open files (“_unexpected file format_”) written in later versions, MX 2004 and 8. Question: can I have installed simultaneously with MX another version, and if so, which one?
Thanks, friends, for any advice.
rafael

If you are going to be installing multiple versions, make sure that you install the most recent Flash version last. You probably don’t want all of your SWFs and FLAs to open in an earlier version of Flash by default 🙂

That always messes up though. I found that regardless of which one you install first, the version of Flash that you open/execute/run last will always be opened for a .fla file when you next want to launch Flash.
