okay so i keep wondering if copilot-style tools are making people feel more done than they actually are. they’re great when you already know the shape of the problem, but the confidence bump feels a little dangerous when you don’t.

has anyone else noticed that? i’ve seen myself trust a suggestion faster than i’d trust my own half-finished thought, which is… a weird place for your brain to be.

The “feel more done than you are” part is super real — the suggestion pops in looking polished and authoritative, so your brain treats it like it passed some invisible review.

I’ve caught myself shipping stuff faster just because it _reads_ clean, then 20 minutes later I’m like “wait… do I even understand why this works?”
