# Aligning tweens using new Motion Tween format

Hey all,

I was wondering why my ease (using the Ease slider in the properties panel) doesn’t match the position change area of my Motion Tween. Is there a way to apply a tween only to a particular few property keyframes, or does it now apply to the entire symbol keyframe?

See the image, I wanted the ease to only be where there is a change in X.

P.S. - what is the difference between a tween with a dotted line and one which is solid? I don’t know how to turn a tween into a solid line to edit it.
