# Alpha fading ! HELP!

im trying to fade in some buttons over a 2 second timescale - but instead of fading in, it just jumps from 0% alpha to 100% instantly. ive tried fading objects that aren’t buttons just graphics but its still doing the same thing. is there something different about mx thats not in flash5 ??? any ideas
