Im new to this so id love some help here guys i have a bvery simple background image [here](http://i13.tinypic.com/6aupw1s.png) i know i could easily reproduce it or use trace bitmap but nither of those will work with the other images in my project .

So im looking for a way to scale this using actionscript so it dosnt loose its shape its a pritty simple operation in photoshop vhop out hat middle and shove the bottom up thats basicly what im trying to do .

ive tried to use it with 9 slice scaling ive even chopped it up into 9 parts but it looks like im doing something wrong .

\can anyone point me in the right direction
