# An issue with Flash fonts

I recently downloaded some of the free fonts for flash… I placed them in my Windows fonts folder but they aren’t usable when I open Flash. I’ve restarted the computer and even checked out my fonts folder… They’re in there…
Any suggestions?

Yeah, it a problem with windows.
Go into the fonts folder and double click on the fonts. That seems to do it.

Installing fonts by just placing them in Windows/Fonts won’t work. Intead, go to the folder, choose file - install new font (or something alike, I have Windows in another language). Then, in the window that pops up, select the location of the font and the font you want to install, hit OK and presto, you’re done.
