# And js sliding menu

Hi - I’m making a sliding menu, and have a few problems with it!

the main problem is that the css needs sorting to make the submenu items active. The width of the folio menu item (when Inspecting the CSS in Safari / chrome) is too wide and covers the submenu, making it inactive. I have to use z-index to get the sub menu to slide under the folio menu item. see here -
