# Animated GIF Issue (?)

greetings,

i’ve encountered an issue regarding animated GIFs created with Adobe ImageReady and Macromedia Fireworks

i have about 10 frames which i set to loop 3 times…  
when viewed in a browser, it loops 3 times… but when viewed using window’s picture viewer, it loops twice ONLY… in some cases, it loops forever… when viewed online or from a server site, it does not loop accordingly in certain situations - inconsistent…

it’s also been reported that MAC machines start their loop count at 0…  
so, windows = 1 2 3  
macintosh = 0 1 2 3

hmm, so, is this an ongoing issue or is there something i don’t know?
