# Animating stone/glass breaks apart. Help please

Is there any method to animate broken things, such as glass or stone?

I guess you could create several different animations of the different peices of glass/stone and just put them together at the start of the main animation so it looks like one object. Thats just How I would do it.

Do I have to first make the irregular pieces in programms like Photoshop?

yeah, you could probably pull it off in flash though
