you learn something everyday…

I need to animate a spinal disk, a cross between an onion, rubber bands and an egg sandwich.

if that makes any sense :ch:

in short when you lean forward the “yoke” moves back, and the rubberband/onion bit surrounding the yoke streaches and compresses, held together with two pieces of bread top and bottom.

from side…

however from the top its like a circle, and so the ability to make it look like it is compressing in one area and streaching in another is beyond me.

any great animator tips? thanks
