# Another HTML5 thread. MS shifts from silverlight

Guys, Microsoft to shift from Silverlight to HTML 5 for cross-platform development.

Recently Adobe also showed some love towards html5.

What actually is happening ? Is plugins dying. I’d like to here from Kirupa too, as he is working with Silverlight.
