Hey guys,
i just signed up to Gaia like 3 days ago, and I love it. I’m so addicted already, and currently have a tux, some pants, shoes, and magna’s gloves. Sweet stuff.

I still don’t fully comprehend what the entire thing about their forum is…if I see one more anime-like character next to a post, I’m going to explode :evil:
But, if its something addictive and quite possibly harmful to the social well-being of people, I’m all for installing it on these forums 😛

LOL. That is awesome.
I think the whole draw thing, is that you basically get “xp” through people voting on your art that you submit, and then for posting, and posting constructively. Then you can buy things to upgrade your character. It’s a little neat, but weird. I don’t think it would be appropriate for a primarily flash related forum, but who knows. I’ve seen things done to a lesser degree before. Like the “stars” system, which is based on posts, or ranks, which unlocks the ability to use your own avatar, or something to that effect. I like kirupa how it is. 😉

OMG kirupa,
if you ever did that, like had shops and exp liek they have. I would love you forever!!!
But I’m sorry you guys think this is lame, it’s a nerd thing I guess. I love anime/games/ and design. Perfect place for me to fit. I think I’m a forum whore, I mean I’m subscribed to like 6 right now, which I visit frequently.
Heres a picture of my character at the moment, he is so sexy. And hey! That tux costed alotta money!!!

Haha yeah bro, I’m a big fourm nerd 😛 I find it from my friends, oh actually Revee and I have been chattin for a while, and she introduced me to it XD
Oh and kirupa, you should ask about getting some smillies from there, they have awsome ones.

Yea, this is similar to Habo Hotel kinda. I messed around with it for a bit, but never got interested. I love RPG’s, anime, games (I was the webmaster and a 2d artist for Bid For Power, one of the biggest & longest developed Q3 mods), but this stuff just pisses me off. I like it right up until I discover that I’m getting nowhere, and there are 10,000 other people doing the same thing, and that what I’m doing is pretty small scale when it compares to 5,000 9th graders who can spend their whole lives on a computer. 😃
