# Any giudes for getting out of the Flash IDE?

Does anyone know of a simple giude that would aid the transition from using the Flash IDE to using a text editor and SWF compiler? I just need a brief intro to all the package stuff and private, public etc.

Basically, I just want to understand all the stuff that I was able to ignore while using the IDE.
