# Any MAYA experts?

I am doing a Maya project but being very new to such programs… I am having problems… anyone here can help or know of any Maya forums that is well populated and friendly like Kirupa? :te:

Anyway I will just post my questions here in case someone comes along and knows the answers

I am trying to put a floatSlider on a UI for users to choose a value, but I want the value to be fixed at certain intervals, say 0, 0.1, 0.2, … 1.0  
How can I do that?

Also I want the UI to print out the current selected value on the slider… how do I do this??
