The “view source” option hadn’t worked for me.

We were the original and best, so there. 😛
It’s like they say, America and England are two countries divided by the same language.
It always annoys me though, that the PC software is configured for American spelling, so in Flash and that, whenever I type ‘colour’ it doesn’t recognise it because it wants ‘color’ instead. Infuriating!

they are trying to help you get over your bloated and un-efficient ways. That extra u is a whole extra letter of typing! its all about efficency and speed! _I_ am your father! Stop typing the u and your journey to the darkside will be complete!
… actually I catch myself using the u a lot 😊 … some people have worn it off on me.

Wonder why we spell it with the u and you guys don’t? Similar thing with words like ‘realised’. We use an s, but Americans use a z.
