Yup, there was a local ska/latin alternative band as well. It is a festival that lasts all summer long, on Sunday afternoons. The shows are all outdoors, in a meadow, surrounded by a grove of Eucalyptus trees… But they are real short shows. Daniela only played for around an hour and a half or so… The first band is on at 2:00, they shut off the power for the stage at 5:00… Yes, she put on a good show. I didn’t understand about 90% of what she was saying, but that didn’t matter. I’ve heard she is kinda like the Brittney Spears from Bahia… Not really my style of music, but it was extremely fun watching all of the young talent dancing to her music in a very warm sunny meadow. And her music is very close to the the music of Bahia´s Carnival, but not so close to Rio´s. ---
