# Anything besides Catholic?

Of course this is true, but a lot of parents need help. The morals writen in the bible take the form of parables and metaphors. Very well writen parables. Lots of smart people spent thousands of years coming up with those lines. I say if a parent finds it to be a good source of help for instilling those values, there’s nothing wrong with it.
I personaly would teach it to my children as a purely metaphoric thing, rather than teaching them the actuall faith of Christanity, but that’s where the freedom comes in. Don’t blame the book for the sins of the people who have used it improperly in the past. 🙂

Just for the record … I’m a strong Christian. Anti-Catholic. I think people need to know a difference can / does exist.

I’m what my friends often call the Anti-Christ, and it in no way demeans any religion so please don’t take it that way, they use it in the sense that I look like what they believe the devil would look like. And yes I see what you mean upuaut.

I dont beleive people are just born bad or good, its society and their upbrining. A book is a hell of alot better to teach kids than TV. And to teach from a book a parent must do it. And remeber parents cant do everything. Getting assistance from a book or something is never bad.

yeah and you have no clue what I look like…lol, plus it’s really my girlfriend I’m really mean to(in a joking manner of course) and she mostly calls me it, but my friends have caught on because I grew a goute(sp?) and they said it makes me look evil.

Seems like things are cooling down in here. That’s good. We don’t really need to push issues of who looks the most like the anti christ.
I have often said that I am an Agnostic. That is true, but there are some comformations that I have. For one thing, I come from Quaker stock, another being raised in a very scientificaly oriented environment. I figured I should provide a link to quaker information.

If I were to follow any organized religion, it would be the way of the Society of Friends. Take a gander. They were very interesting people. Very good people, regardless of their blaspheme.
