I’ve been tasked with trying to find a way to create the equivilent to a Title Tag in IE (aka: Tool tip, or caption) except have it work on a Dynamic Text Box with a string read into the SWF.

So the trick is to find a way to detect when the cursor rolls over a \<a\> in a dynamic Textfield. Once I have that I can easily generate the caption MovieClip.

This might be impossible, but the fact that I can attach a Stylesheet and use an a:hover and the fact that the cursor flips to the hand when it’s over this hyperlink I’m reading in makes me think there might be a way to detect mouseover on specific words in a dynamic text field.

Anyone have any ideas?
Just tell me I’m crazy if you want.

Love,
The Jackyl
