# Apple Sued over Tiger, Injunction Sought

Seems this company Tiger Direct has a trademark on the word ‘Tiger’ and they want Apple to not distribute OSX 10.4 Codenamed ‘Tiger’ because:

> The retailer said Apple’s use of the name “is causing confusion, mistake and deception among the general purchasing public.”

Why did they wait so soon before the release of Tiger before crying about it?
