The idea of tools not keeping pace with ambition really resonates. It reminds me of the typography argument I had once, where the font choice limited how many distinct IDs we could safely display.

It’s not just about the happy path. We need to design for the edge cases, the states that break the system if we don’t consider them from the beginning.
