# Are people putting too much work in their logos?

It seems like a lot of people here are asking for crits about their logos.  
I get the feeling that most of these are one man bands that really need stuff in their portfolios rather than a great brand for themselves.

You can tinker for ages with one pixel here and one pixel there, and the result is still just some logo.

While a **good** and \*\*fitting \*\*logo is certainly all good (and there are some really good ones out there) I get the feeling that people use way too much time on letter-spacing and nudging instead of real work.  
What do you people think?

This isn’t really a showcase or a request for critique, but i didn’t wan’t to hijack someones thread to say this. You can give me crits for the question!
