As soon as they took real skill to play, they might not be. …then again, guess what? Sports are considerred entertainment to the casual player. ---

“Professional” gamers are nowhere near athletes, end of story. ---

Proffesional gamers are atheletes in a physical sense but in some ways they are, such as they have to train, practice etc. ---

physical?? the only way possible gamers can be anywhere near atheletes would be a gamer using computer sims based on a real sport/activity… where all the real world attributes are implemented (formula1 // the one the pros use for course training) otherwise like i said before gamers cannot be said to be atheletes for the pure fact that game coders determine how the in game physics and rules interact with the player. ---
